Current Flu Wave: Dr. Roller in an Interview on Radio 100.7

Dr. Chris Roller, President of the AMMD, was a guest on Radio 100.7 today, where he discussed the current flu wave as well as the challenges of digital networking in the healthcare system.

🏥 Emergency services are currently under heavy strain. To ease the burden, Dr. Roller recommends consulting a general practitioner first in case of flu symptoms. However, not everyone has a designated primary care physician – a situation caused by several factors.

💡 Another topic addressed was digital networking in the healthcare sector. Dr. Roller emphasized the need for better coordination between the various stakeholders.

The Immediate Direct Payment (PID) system was also discussed. While it is already in use by some doctors, it still faces limitations in its current form.
