Discouraging Conclusions from Last Saturday’s Briefing

The Health Minister struggles to acknowledge the fundamental criticism regarding the governance of the CNS—a criticism already voiced by the parties now in power before they took office and incorporated into their own coalition agreement.

Her intervention provided no concrete answers to the major challenges facing the healthcare system:

  • Difficulties in primary care,
  • The absence of advanced specialized medicine in private practices,
  • Unacceptable waiting times,
  • And unsustainable pressure on hospitals.

Not a word, not a perspective.

It is becoming urgent to engage in a serious dialogue about translating political commitments into tangible structural reforms.
